This course integrates anatomy, physiology and mechanics to explore the principles of human movement and the techniques used to study it.

This course provides a cumulative experience by applying the anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, metabolism and physics taught throughout the exercise science program to developing a framework for understanding human and animal locomotion.

The Physiology of movement
This course covers the physiology of the musculoskeletal and sensorimotor systems. ​It goes from first principles to clinical application, and emphasizes a quantitative, integrative approach to biology that is grounded in the primary literature.
